Old Jeddah and the souk

The souk is the outdoor market. We spent some time sightseeing and shopping in downtown Jeddah, the second stop on our three-city tour.

It looks cool in KSA . Did you buy anything? What money do they use? Is it more expensive or Cheaper.

Dear Mr.Joe,

It looked really cool when you went sightseeing and you saw that really tall food market. Do you know how tall the building was?

MR. Joe,

It sounds like you are having a lot of fun! Did you buy anything at the market? Also, is it anything like the USA markets? What are different or the same? Well, have a good rest of the time! Good Luck!

The money in Saudi is called the riyal. Prices are about the same for most things.

The food market building was about three stories (30 feet) high.

The souq is like a flea market. They sell stuff that is typically cheaper in price than what you'd buy at a store in the mall. I bought some traditional Saudi clothes, soccer jerseys, and souvenirs. I can't wait to share them with you when I get back!
